Terms and Conditions

The following conditions are accepted by both buyer and seller:


In these terms and conditions ‘The Seller’ or ‘The Company’ means Popoe UK and ‘The Buyer’ means the purchaser of goods from ‘The Seller’ under these terms and conditions.


All prices are correct at time of printing but are subject to change without prior notice. All prices are exclusive of VAT at the ruling rate & delivery costs.


Payment is due in full prior to dispatch of goods if a credit arrangement is not agreed beforehand. Payment is due in full 30 days from the date of invoice where a credit agreement exists.

Overdue Accounts

After 40 days a surcharge of 4% of the gross amount will be levied on a daily basis.


Goods must be inspected on delivery and all claims for shortages or damages must be reported to The Seller within 24 hours of receipt of goods. The Company must be informed in writing within 14 days of date of invoice in the case of loss. The Company will not entertain claims made outside the stated time limits. Due to strict hygiene regulations The Seller cannot accept returns of items such as scissors, clippers or razors which have been used. Please note this list is not exhaustive.

Returned Goods

If goods have been ordered in error or not as expected, The Company may agree to their return, a returns authorisation must be requested. If you wish to return unwanted goods please ensure that any product you have bought is in original condition, unworn, unused and sent back to us with its original packaging within 7 days of receipt. Your Statutory rights are not affected. Due to strict hygiene regulations The Seller cannot accept returns if items such as scissors, clippers or razors which have been used. Please note this list is not exhaustive. Carriage for alternative items to be paid by customer. Refunds will be subject to the purchase price less a 10% handling charge. Returned goods will only be accepted where a Returns Authorisation has been given. The relevant reference number must be quoted in accompanying documentation. The Seller accepts no responsibility for lost parcels without receipt of postage. For your own protection please obtain a receipt of postage from your carrier.


The company policy is to despatch goods within 48 hours of Cheques/Postal orders being cleared, however this can vary subject to stock availability. Times quoted are in good faith, but shall not be binding. The Seller can accept no responsibility for transport delays or circumstances outwith their control causing late delivery.

Delivery Charges

Delivery is £3.95 per scissor parcel for most parts of the UK. Channel Islands and offshore islands may vary according to the size and weight of parcel. Special delivery will be quoted upon request. Scissor Parcels will be sent in a First Class service. Parcels will be sent by our nominated carrier service or Royal Mail First Class.


We will happily accept orders from anywhere in the world. Carriage will vary on destination and weight of parcel. Price on application.


Prior to despatch, cancellation will only be accepted on the following terms:
i) 5% handling charge on standard items.
ii) Non standard items: furniture/special order items cannot be cancelled and payment must be paid in full. Cancellation after despatch is not accepted.

Order Changes

Any alterations to order must be confirmed in writing by the buyer and agreed in writing by The Seller.


Goods are sold on the understanding that they will only be used for their intended purpose. No responsibility will be accepted by The Seller for trained or untrained personnel without qualified supervision using or misusing products supplied by The Seller. All offers in the catalogue are subject to stock availability and we reserve the right to restrict or refuse any order of application for credit at anytime. In exceptional circumstances, if a product is unavailable, we may send a carefully selected substitute. We take special care to show correct sizes and specification and such descriptions whilst given as a guide, in good faith, are subject to alteration by The Seller without notice.


All items are guaranteed according to the manufacturer’s warranty. All glass items are specifically excluded from this guarantee.

Retention Of Title Clause

i) The risk in all goods passes to The Buyer upon delivery but title in the goods remains vested in The Seller and shall only pass from The Seller to The Buyer upon full payment being made up all sums (due on whatsoever accounts or grounds) to The Seller.
ii) The Buyer agrees that prior to the payment of the whole price of the goods, The Seller or appointed agents may enter The Buyers premises to collect such goods should The Seller request. The Buyer shall keep the goods separate and identifiable for the purpose and return the goods to The Seller should The Seller request.
